The Subdial Clubhouse, London

Subdial is the trading platform for people who love watches, and the Clubhouse is our HQ and centre of London's watch collecting.

“Earlier this year, Coolhaus Interiors was brought in to design the new London HQ of watch trading platform - Subdial. The brief was simple; to create a home for watch lovers and collectors.

Coolhaus set out to transform the 2000 sq ft industrial space into a hybrid showroom and exhibition space where clients can view luxury pre-owned watches in a setting that reflects the quality and craft of the timepieces on display. 

Warm adaptive lighting was key in creating an intimate space whilst delivering on the technical specifications required for honest watch viewing. The Tala lights were brought in not least because of their aesthetic which is a contemporary take on the industrial coolie shade with their spherical opal light bulbs, but also for their performance-driven Dim to Warm technology allowing the space to be both ambient and bright for watch viewings. The Bower pendants in Oyster White sit above the coffee bar and an Alumina table lamp in Charcoal on a sideboard allowing Subdial's experts to have full control of the customer experience.” - Clemency Cartwright, Designer at Coolhaus Interiors
