Tala and Light Plus: Illuminating the Art of Space

At ONE ART Taipei 2024, Light Plus introduced Tala in a truly unique way, incorporating our lighting into a conceptual art installation in the VIP Room. This installation reimagined how lighting can transform spaces and challenge conventional ideas of both art and design. Instead of paint on canvas, Light Plus used Tala's thoughtfully designed lights to craft a visual narrative—illuminating the delicate balance between artistry and functionality. We were honoured to be the first lighting design brand to participate in the ONE ART Taipei (OAT) experience, celebrating the synergy between art and design.

Inspired by Nature, Designed for Connection

The Tala installation, curated by Light Plus, was inspired by the natural world that serves as a key source for our designs. The space featured semi-transparent structures intertwined with greenery, respecting the room’s original layout while utilizing sustainable, recycled materials. This thoughtful arrangement created intimate pockets of light, allowing guests to explore the brand on multiple levels and understand how Tala’s designs reflect a harmony between nature, design, and innovation.

Our collaboration with Light Plus aimed to offer visitors not just an aesthetic experience, but a heartfelt one. The warmth of Tala’s lighting filled the space, inviting guests to pause and appreciate the delicate, artistic interplay of light and shadow. Through this installation, we wanted people to not only see the beauty in light but also feel it—transforming the simple act of illumination into something emotionally resonant.
